Parking Fundraiser
The Parking Fundraiser is our chance to raise $$$ for our school, without having to sell wrapping paper, candy, cookies, etc!
This annual fundraiser happens on just two weekends per year, when the Southern Christmas Show shopping event takes place across the street at The Park Expo convention hall. We will open up the gates to our school campus on Saturday 11/12, Sunday 11/13, Saturday 11/19, and Sunday 11/20 to allow Christmas Show attendees to park their cars in the school parking lot and the lower field, for $10 per vehicle.
Volunteering
Volunteers are needed to flag cars at the front gate, collect payments, and show drivers where to park. It takes a whole team of volunteers to run the Parking Fundraiser sucessfully and we need your help!
Every Chantilly Montessori family is expected to take a role in the Parking Fundraiser, so please find a way to help.
Use of Funds
The Parking Fundraiser is different from the Invest in Your Child (IYC) campaign, which requests donations from Chantilly Montessori families to fund Montessori-speific materials for our school's classrooms.
Parking Fundraiser money is used for:
PTO community-wide events, such as Flutterfest, Gallery Crawl, & Ice Cream Social (all FREE to attend)
Staff Appreciation, such as the catered Back to School Lunch
Teacher Gift Cards, which are given to each classroom teacher for non-Montessori materials
Gardening Supplies, such as water hoses
Parent Education, such as Positive Discipline classes
